pray for me I have pneumonia

please pray for me... I have been sick for going on three weeks, I went to the doctor monday evening and he thought I had broncitis well he percribed me 4 different kinds of medicine and it is not getting better.. so today I went to the hostpital and the ER doctor exrayed my chest and told me I had pneumonia in my right lung. he gave me predizone two breathing treatments and a shot I am at home now trying to see if anyone has a humidfier I think that will help me to sleep.

I have'nt been able to go to church for about two weeks hopefully this sunday I will be able to go back we are having a preacher there sunday the same one we had last sunday I am looking foward to hearing him my husband brought me home a tape.. and so far I really like his preaching I know God will send just who we need.

but anyway please pray for me as I try to get better I am gonna go get some rest.

Feeling some better

I have been sick all week not feeling like doing nothing except sleep.
I feel some better today I did get out and go to the post office me and Levi went. but it's this cough that want go away it's making me tired cause all I do is cough hopefully by tomorrow I will feel much better and by sunday completely well I hope so.please pray for me .

An Emotional Day at Church Sunday

Sunday was an emotional day for our church our pastor and his family left... God has Redirected their path out into the mission field.. I love this family so very much and I know they are following Gods will for their lives. please pray for our church as we seek a new pastor I thought this day would never come I was in hopes that Bro Ron would be our pastor till the Lord came back but that was'nt in Gods will.

I know God will send us another Good pastor. I told my pastors wife Ms Julie not to forget me she said she would'nt the good thing is they live about five minutes from my house. I want to go see them but this week I am sick don't know what I have but my chest hurts when I cough and just conjested. I lost a 1/4 of a pound this week which was better then gaining. I'm not focusing on my diet right now being that I'm sick just don't feel like counting anything I spent most of monday in bed just resting trying to feel better I feel some better today but not completely well.

well I am gonna go lay back down and try to get plenty of rest so I will get completely well I hate feeling sick especially with this cough it's driving me crazy.

I love all of ya'll and please pray for my family and my church.

I want pizza

well here I am again it's monday I went this morning to get our taxes done glad thats over with.

ok I started out this morning with my no white foods and as of right now I've not had no white foods as of yet but I am wanting pizza really bad so this white foods and my diet may just have to wait till tomorrow so I can get this craving out of my system.

well I will let ya'll know my results by the end of the week on this no white foods diet oh just to let ya'll know I am also counting my points too plus drinking my water.

Hey ya'll everything is going good This week Sis Karen challenged us not to eat white foods well sis Karen if your reading this I have been good all week so far with NO white foods at all....I have not been as hungry this week. giving up the white foods just may be my everyday thing from now on thank you for being there for us and keep up the good work.

I just wanted to tell ya'll about some chicken I made last night for dinner it was so good....I took chicken tenders and brushed each piece with egg wash then dipped each piece in parmesan cheese and baked them they were so good it was very low in points.... 1 point each

Ya'll are gonna have to try this.

My clothes are not fitting as tight

EVEN THOUGH THE SCALES ARE'NT MOVING MUCH MY CLOTHES ARE NOT FITTING AS TIGHT AND I DON'T FEEL AS BLOATED. I REALLY FEEL BETTER WITH MY CLOTHES NOT FITTING AS TIGHT AS THEY USE TO. I CAN'T WAIT TILL THE DAY I CAN SAY BYE TO ALL THESE PLUS SIZE CLOTHES FOR GOOD THEY JUST DON'T MAKE CUTE PLUS SIZE CLOTHES YOU JUST HAVE TO GET WHAT FITS.

Discouraged

Hey ya'll :(

Just a note here....I need some encouragement.. I have been on my diet ever since November, and with Thanksgiving and Christmas, I dicided to really get serious again in January, and the scales are not moving, it's getting me frustrated, last week I walked twice, all around the neighborhood, and plus worked out on my glider one night.... I don't understand what the problem is. ( OK I KNOW WHAT YOUR THINKING ) YOUR THINKING HAVE I BEEN DRINKING MY WATER. WELL, SOME, BUT usually when I do weight watchers I do it the same way and I still lose. should I get something to help boost my weight loss? is it my age? or what, I just don't know....please ladies give me some of your ideas to help boost my weight loss I am about to do low carb if this keeps up I know I can lose on low carb. very sad right now.

Changes You Can Make to Lose Weight

1. Set realistic goals - You didn't put on extra weight overnight so it is equally unrealistic to take it off quickly. Record a goal that you can reach in one month that is 4 to 8 pounds less than you weigh now. Set a goal you know you can achieve.


2. Spread your calories around - Divide your calorie goal by the number of meals (at least three) so that you eat about the same amount of calories at each meal. If meals are more than 500 calories, save some calories for snacks between meals. Make sure you eat at least 1200 calories each day or you will lose muscle.


3. Diet foods not required - Eat regular foods rather than the "sugar free", "lite" or "fat free" versions (except soda beverages and milk) because the calories in these "diet" foods still count towards your total calories each day. Diet foods are usually not as satisfying or filling so you may eat more of them. Drink fat free or skim milk so you can add some fat at meals. If you only drink 1% milk, then cut added fat in half at meals. If you drink 2% (low fat) milk, then don't add any fat to food at meals. Eat the basic food groups at meals - lean meat, legumes, dairy, fruits and vegetables. Then add one or two servings of grains or starches each meal to reach your calorie goal. Include 8 ounces of milk and one serving of grains, fruits and vegetables at each meal to provide carbohydrate fuel for your brain and muscles. You need at least 100 grams of carbohydrate each day.


4. Drastic changes not recommended - The plan you follow to lose weight should be built on the how you eat now modified by these ten changes. A weight loss plan should be a plan you can follow for a lifetime by making small changes in the portion sizes you eat once you reach your goal weight so that you can maintain a healthy weight. Try the Healthy Body Calculator to calculate your basal calorie (don't include activity) needs at your current weight and your goal weight. There may be as little as a 5 calorie increase for each pound of body weight you gain over your goal weight.


5. Portion control - Control meal portions to a piece of lean meat as big as the back of your hand from your knuckles to where your wrist bends and as thick as your little finger or about the size of a deck of cards. Other foods like grains, vegetables and fruits can be portioned to 2 heaping serving tablespoons or approximately ½ cup each per meal. Measure how many ounces are in your beverage glass or mug so that you pour 4 or 8 ounces portions.


6. Cook it yourself - Bake, broil or steam food rather than frying. Consider cooking from scratch more often so you know what is in the food you eat.


7. Some fat is OK - Limit added fat to 1 teaspoon (margarine or mayonnaise or oil) or 1 tablespoon of salad dressing per meal if this doesn't exceed your calorie goal. You can choose to put margarine on your potato or salad dressing on your salad, but not both. To limit salad dressing and make it go farther, serve your salad dressing on the side of your salad and then dip your fork in the dressing before spearing your salad for each mouthful.


8. Sugar is not evil - You just can't afford the calories. Sugar only contains carbohydrate so use an artificial sweetener in beverages or drink sugar free soda in reasonable amounts.




9.Have your cake too? - Probably not. Desserts are mostly fat and sugar which will put you over your calorie goal for the day

yippie

I lost 2.6 this week I am so happy to have lost.. I am trying to get use to drinking my water and exorcising, it's not easy but this is a goal I want to accomplish this year.... I don't want another year to come and go and leave me back in the same position, come January of 2009.. it's just not gonna happen.... I am so tired of every new years I promiss myself that this will be the year I lose weight.. and for some reason I really have a strong feeling that God is gonna help me keep this promiss to myself....although I could'nt do a thing without the prayers cause I know God is helping me through this it's hard to change your way of eating I have been eating like this all my life not realizing how much it's damaging my health.

But I want to say to all the Ladies who are doing this Thank you for all your support,friendship and most of all your prayers.

I pray that each lady has a good week this week coming up and just remember to always keep God first in all things. I love each and every one of you.

WATER OR H2O WHATEVER YOU CALL IT I DON'T LIKE IT

Hey everyone just an update here on my progress I have been doing good so far yesterday I dranked 1 gallon of water yuck water is not my favotrite drink I know I need it but it's just nasty please pray that I will start liking the taste of it.

also I have never been to the bathroom so much everytime I turned around I was in the BR which is a good thing cause I know thats when we lose weight and I can be thankful for that anyway like I said this is just an update.
